GIVING IS GETTING

This heartwarming ad titled „Tree“ for Toys „R“ Us will immediately have the audience getting into the Christmas spirit. The toy retailer’s first ad for their 2015 seasonal “Awwwesome“ campaign features two pals teaming up to elaborately decorate an elderly man’s yard – complete with Christmas tree! Other spots illustrate the true meaning of Christmas in a more light-hearted way. One highlights the company‘s vast selection of toys as Ken and Barbie, everyone‘s favorite power couple, drive around lost in a toy store - but even a male doll refuses to ask for directions.

THE FUTURE IS NOW

October 21, 2015 is the day the future begins, according to everyone’s favorite time-travelling movie. Just to jog your memory, the lead character, Marty McFly orders a „Pepsi Perfect“ soda in one scene. Fans united online to campaign to Pepsi to create a replica version of the soda, and the company agreed. In celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary, Pepsi produced 6 500 limited edition bottles. The brand also hosted a Back to the Future-themed panel discussion at the New York Comic Con, along with a booth designed to look like ’80s Cafe, where Pepsi Perfect was complementary to everyone who dressed up like Marty.

The new campaign for All Natural Yoghurt is based on a simple premise leading us to forget all the yoghurt ad clichés such as fruit tumbling through cascading a milk product in slow motion. Brownes is dramatizing product desire in a simple, human and authentic way: Small kids just enjoying their yoghurt. “A Natural Silence“ is based on the strategic insight that mums enjoy watching their kids enjoying something they love. The different spots are based on the strategy ‘by mums, for mums’ and there’s a great sense of peace in each moment.

COMPLIMENTARY TRAFFIC LIGHTS

When you get to a pedestrian cross, what do you think about the person on the other side of the road? Brazilian cookie brand Biscoitos Zezehas launched a new campaign that offers six different compliment stickers that pedestrians can choose from and post them (with a magnet) to give compliments to one another before crossing the street. By just posting stickers on opposing traffic lights, the campaign demonstrates how something as simple as a small compliment can create genuine moments of warm, positive feelings and real world connections.
