Coke drinkers make mini-me replicas

Marketers at Coca-Cola Israel promoted the release of their new mini bottle by inviting consumers to create mini versions of themselves via a gamified mobile app. Users who kept their virtual pint-sized selves happy and healthy by picking out clothes, shopping for food and more, were invited to Coke’s Israel headquarters. There, they stepped inside a special scanner that created a 3D-figurine made of coloured sandstone.

Billboards hijacked in new zealand

Crafty Beggars - a New Zealand based craft beer brand - hijacked six billboards around New Zealand under the cover of darkness, ostensibly making other businesses‘ billboards their own. They customised huge billboards using hand-made illustrations and 3D-cutouts for maximum impact. In addition, a video was produced for extra exposure that was shared and spread across the web creating PR waves.

Classical concerto music sweetens ice cream waiting time

Recognising the visual of the lid, the Concerto Timer app launches a virtual violin performance of Bach Inventions No. 14. It features two-minute-long augmented reality concertos that help consumers gauge the exact amount of time needed to prepare their Häagen-Dazs ice cream. Allowing the ice cream to soften slightly – also called tempering – enhances the texture.
