A NEW WAY OF STORYTELLING

Volvo became the first company to launch a VR campaign on Google Cardboard, a novelty piece of hardware that converts smartphones into functional VR headsets with nothing but cardboard, two lenses, and a magnet – basically only a few dollars worth of material. Featuring the Volvo XC90 Experience, users can take a virtual leisurely test drive, accompanied by music, after downloading the Volvo Reality app. The experience is even divided into multiple episodes.

SURPRISINGLY NATURAL

The famous food and beverage company turned to the age-old trick of selling with sex. Nestlé took over New York’s coffee shops with baristas and a few extras as customers wearing nothing but body paint. They filmed the patrons’ reaction as they handed out free coffee and samples of their new creamer. The company claims their product contains only four natural ingredients: milk, cream, sugar and natural flavours. The gimmick of all-naked baristas in The Natural Bliss Café truly embodies the name and tagline of Nestlé‘s new Coffee-Mate creamer: Natural Bliss – surprisingly natural.
