MCDONALDS PRESENTS HEARTWARMING COMING-OUT SCENE

In the new 90-second advertisement, McCafé Taiwan shows an emotional moment between father and son, in which the young man passes a coffee cup to his dad reading „I like boys.“ The father gets up, visibly upset, and appears to storm away from the table. Distraught, the boy believes this means his father doesn’t approve of him. He returns, though, and writes three characters on the coffee cup which make the sentence read „I accept that you like boys“ over his son’s original message. The Facebook video has now been viewed more than 3.6 million times, with the original post gaining more than 92,000 likes and 11,800 shares.
