FROM SOUPS TO SWIPES

Unilever-owned brand Knorr is testing new beacon technology, by teaming up with the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. At a food truck where visitors sampled new Knorr soups, iBeacons recognized the already installed Aftonbladet app and were able to retarget the visitors with a mobile ad the next time the visitor used the app. Focusing on brand-building, the ads remind the consumers about Knorr products and give them an incentive in the form of vouchers.

The new campaign by the German chocolate bar is simple, crazy and of course, all in yellow - just like its packaging. In a number of 15- and 20-second spots, a witty and cheeky host introduces us to unique ways to eat the crispy cookie bar, most of which are just as fun and enjoyable as the biscuit itself.
